Can you believe Magic Academy celebrates its 5th birthday this month. Time has flown since a group of unsuspecting UK-based Googlers hit the English countryside to learn how to develop the behaviours and approaches to engaging customers around brand advertising even more effectively.
It has changed dramatically over the past few years, to what is now a global personal impact programme all can benefit from, unlocking the creative leader in us all and helping us have even more impact everyday.
The principle cards we give out at the end of Magic Academy have been updated to reflect the evolution in the programme over the years. The App is simply a digital version of those cards, to offer stimulus and provocation when approaching anything where we want fresh thinking and options, from a simple challenge like how to make my team meeting a more efficient use of time, to a more meaty task like ensuring the country hits quota, or how to create a more collaborative engagement with an important customer.
As the App is internal only, we can't publish on Play. So you need to download via a slightly more convoluted way, but it doesn't take more than a minute. It works on both phone and tablet devices, but is currently only available on Android (IOS version coming soon).

0. Uninstall any previous version of the App
1. From your phone, download the Magic Academy app here
2. You will receive this security warning. 'Click on Settings'
3. This will open the Security menu. Check the box 'Unknown sources'
4. You will receive this security warning, Leave the tick in 'Allow this installation only.' checked and click OK.
5. At this prompt click 'Install'
6. Once the app is installed click open.
7. You will also have a shortcut on your phone
